    Since the beginning of September, the client council of General Practitioner and Care has been active. The members will contribute ideas to the drafting of the policy and advise the management from the client’s perspective. The client council provides solicited and unsolicited advice on all kinds of HenZ plans that concern patients.   • Patients give Huisartsenpost Gorinchem a good 8

    Patients are very satisfied with the quality of the care and services provided by the Gorinchem General Practitioner Post. At the beginning of this year, MarketResponse conducted a patient satisfaction survey among a large group of patients. It yielded good figures for triage nurses, general practitioners and the organization.

  • Kick-off of research into further collaboration between the out-of-hours GP service and the emergency department

    On 11 April, GP and Care and the Beatrix Hospital of Rivas Zorggroep signed a letter of intent to strengthen and expand the cooperation for emergency care in the region. What that collaboration between the Gorinchem GP Post and the Emergency Department will look like will be further elaborated this year.

  • New website Huisartsenpost Gorinchem

    On 15 February, the new website of the Gorinchem GP Post went live. The website is based on the format of ‘Do I need to go to the doctor?’ This means that patients first answer a number of short questions themselves. After going through this self-triage, they will quickly find out whether they should contact their own GP or our GP post directly.  In the coming period, we will keep a close eye on the use of self-triage in the region and monitor the effects on the number of calls to the Gorinchem GP post.   • Huisartsenpost Gorinchem drives 100 percent electric

    Since May 2022, the Huisartsenpost Gorinchem has been the proud owner of two bright yellow electric Volkswagen ID4s. This makes us one of the first GP posts in the Netherlands to drive visits with fully electric GP cars. The Mobile Medical Assistants (MMAs) are the drivers of the new cars. They bring the GPs quickly and safely to patients in the region in the evening, night and weekend hours. The drivers have medical knowledge and assist during (emergency) visits.
